Is Maize India’s Next Big Investment Opportunity?

Let's look into statistics.!! India's current ethanol production has increased from 9.5 billion liters to 13.5 billion liters, with 6.2 billion liters from sugarcane and 3.3 billion liters from grain feedstocks.

Our current Maize production stands at 38 million metric tons (MMT) and targets 49.8 MMT to meet the growing demand by 2025/26 to meet the target of 20% ethanol blending by 2025-26, up from the current 13-14%. How do we reach the target is a big a question?

This policy shift highlights a transformative opportunity for the maize sector, pushing India towards energy sustainability while reshaping agricultural strategies.

Do you think production policy shifts play a key role?
